My Dog’s Top 10

To celebrate his birthday, I put together a list of his top 10 favorite things.

1. Kong

We got Rory a Kong shortly after we brought him home at two months old and he loved playing with it just as a toy on its own. But in the last month we have started filling it up with peanut butter and treats and he absolutely LOVES it!

2. Peanut Butter

Speaking of peanut butter, Rory cannot get enough. And I’m sure your dog is the same way! He is a Jif kind of guy and we have to buy multiple jars at a time.

3. Nerf Gun Ball Shooter

This is just the best! Especially if you’re like me with a dog that loves to play fetch, but can’t throw the ball as far as he would like you to. This one comes with three balls too!

4. Woody and Buzz

The ultimate pair! These were two of the first toys we had for Rory when we brought him home and he just loves them. Plus for his Disney-loving parents, we love them too!

5. Comfy Bed

Okay honestly we bought him this bed and he didn’t use it for like the first six months, but now he enjoys it way more. However, he still prefers the couch! 😉 I loved this bed when I was shopping for the perfect one, because it was available in so many great neutral colors and sizes. Returns were easy too. I originally ordered the driftwood color and it didn’t look the best, but I was able to do a quick return and decided on the velvet smoke and it was perfect.

6. Cozy Blanket

Rory is a big blanket guy! Which we love because we are all about blankets too. We like to get these $10 blankets from Target for him because they are a good price and are great quality!

7. Hamster / Hedgehog Toy

This little toy might be Rory’s #1 favorite! We call it his hamster, but I think it’s actually more of a hedgehog and makes little noises.

8. Antlers

What dog doesn’t love a good antler, am I right? Aside from getting him antlers from specialty shops, these are the best, cheap, and easiest way to get them!

9. Milk Bones

Any and every kind of Milk Bone is this guy’s favorite! We were giving Rory all kinds of other bones that were really bad for him and these were such an easy and healthier option.

10. Carhartt Collar

Look good, feel good! Rory has been in the same style collar since we brought him home and just had to upgrade once for sizing. And he just looks so darn cute in it!
