My Favorite Small Businesses to Shop this Holiday Season
When you support small business, you support a dream. It really is true! As a small business owner, I can personally attest to that ‘happy dance’ moment I have whenever a notification of an order comes in! Supporting small businesses is more important now than ever.
As you start your holiday shopping, I wanted to share with you some ways you can support a family member’s or friend’s small business, as well as your other favorite small businesses without spending a dime!
It really is that simple to support someone’s business when you are on their social media and websites, even if you can’t/don’t plan to purchase one of their products. And if you aren’t into social media there is always the good ole fashioned word-of-mouth!

This business is run by two of the coolest ladies and I love following along with their business! Their vision is to create safe, trendy, and useful products for Mom and Baby!

Macrame Made by Em
Creating a place where someone is able to buy thoughtful and creative decor is one of the goals for this small business. Macrame adds color and texture to any space and everything is created with care and made with eco friendly materials.
This business is by one of my bestie girls and she has created some beautiful items! I can’t wait to purchase some fun macrame Christmas gifts, and get some more decor for my home too!

Six One Fur Pet Boutique was started with a vision to bring unique, trendy, and creatively-designed dog accessories to Columbus, OH (the 614). Gina Keane, graphic designer and hooman behind the brand, brings her creativity to things she loves the most: dog bandanas, puns, and hand lettering.
Gina specifically picks fabrics to suit every trend of the season so that every pup gets an accessory to wear for any occasion. Whether you’re getting married, heading to an OSU game, enjoying a crisp Fall Pumpkin Spice Latte, or just having a pup-aholic beverage with your best fur-iend — there is a bandana for every relatable moment with your pup!
Her bandanas are 100% handmade with high-quality cotton. They easily slip on your pup’s collar so that your doggo is happy, comfortable, and stylish! She hopes to bring more wearable hooman and pup accessories to her shop as she grows her business including a pup-fluencer program that adds value to her follower’s online experience.

Six One Fur Pet Boutique will be at the “ Not your Mama’s craft market” on November 21st from 12-8pm at Via Vecchia Winery. They will also be at a holiday market with ShOHp LOHcal at Zassy’s Tap Room on December 18 from 4-9pm and December 19 from 10am-3pm.

And last but not least…my own small business! Bleacher Boss Boutique is for ladies with a love for sports, faith in God, and a passion for living life to the fullest. We are all about celebrating the #EverydayGirl who loves a cute + comfy style.
